Cath Kidston Mickey & Minnie Release 2017

I was over the moon to discover that Cath Kidston have another Disney release set to launch 7pm  tomorrow evening, 16th November.  I completely missed the first announcement as we were in Florida, so you can imagine my surprise when I received the email!  I liked the Winnie the Pooh and Peter Pan collaborations, but my heart will always be with Mickey and Minnie, so this collection is right up my street! I have been dreaming about the cabin case, but at £150, sadly it's out of my budget this close to Christmas.

The Minnie and Mickey Bouquet shopper bag is definitely on my Christmas list though.  As is the patches keyring and the Patches jersey dress.  Honestly, I love this collection so much.  There's not one thing I don't like!

 

I also love these shoes and bag.  Aren't they cute?!

Those of you who know me will know how much I love my homeware.  So the trinket box, vase, and keepsake tray are right at the top of my wishlist.

Amelia loves the collection too. She's having trouble deciding which backpack she likes best.  I don't blame her.  I can't possibly decide either. 

I can see her in the red cord dress and the Breton Stripe top.  I hope they go up to age 8.

All I need to do now is win the lottery!  I could honestly cry at the fact I won't be able to buy much of this collection this close to Christmas.  I love it all so much.  What are your favourites?

Cath Kidston 101 Dalmatians Collection

Move over Billie the dog!  There's a new pup in town!  Or 101 of them to be precise! Disney and Cath Kidston have announced the third installment of its brand collaboration, which will pay tribute to the 1960’s classic film; 101 Dalmatians. This collaboration follows the  Winnie the Pooh and Mickey and Minnie collections which launched in 2016.

The new 101 Dalmations collection will see Pongo, Perdita and their puppies featured within four brand new Cath Kidston prints, incorporating artwork elements taken from some of the brand’s signature designs and will include sketches of Notting Hill townhouses in blush colours (see below), and of course, the classic monochrome spot print. 

The 101 Dalmatians prints will be available on products across all of Cath Kidston’s categories: bags and accessories, homeware, kids, and fashion and will launch in Cath Kidston stores globally and online on 26 May. With a private VIP launch on 25th May.  Below is a sneak peek of a few of the products in the collection.

Townhouse Dogs 

In order to create a fine Townhouse Dogs pattern, Cath Kidston transformed the townhouse map of Notting Hill, with soft monochrome tones and original manuscripts of the "101 Dalmatians" with animations from the 1960s.  The design also includes colourful pink roses, to create another classic pattern.

Puppies and Roses

In this series, Cath Kidston created a stylish pattern using eye-catching Dalmatian puppies amidst displays of floral roses. Cath Kidston's design team went back into the archives to find the roses pattern which is hand-painted with bright pink blooms and a flat texture with the cheeky puppies peeking out from between them.

Dalmatian Spot

The Dalmatian Spot pattern is hand-painted by the Cath Kidston design team.  It shows the natural texture of the Dalmatian dog.  Pongo, Perdita and their puppies are the focus of the pattern.  There are a series of products in this print, including handbags, cosmetic bags, homeware and a kids collection.

 

Peekaboo Spot 

Cath Kidston has taken inspiration from their classic Button Spot pattern and incorporated it into their new 101 spotted dog design. Peekaboo Spot will be available in handbags and accessories including lanyards and phone cases. These will be mainly black and white, coupled with a spotted Dalmatian puppy and Cath Kidston Button Spot pattern, forming a perfect combination. A pink and white colour-way will also be available for the younger Cath Kidston enthusiast.  The series also includes high-grade leather products such as the fine oblique bag.
