Disney X Cath Kidston Collaboration

So it was announced a few weeks ago that Disney and Cath Kidston have started a collaboration together which are to be released in two stages later this year; Winnie the Pooh on 26th September, and Mickey Mouse in December.  This week however we were given a little insight into a few of the things that will be available. Is anyone else as excited by this as me?

I definitely have my eye on the Winnie the Pooh dress. If that wasn't all gorgeous enough, a few sneak peeks were posted all over Instagram a few days ago of a few of the things we can expect from the December release.  These are the ones i'm really looking forward to.  Especially the dress in the middle....

I'm so excited!

Disney Primark Haul

I love a bargain, and over the past few months I have been lucky enough to find some real gems in my local Primark for our trip to Disney World next year, so I thought I would share them here.  There's some really good bargains to be found.  Why pay four times the price in the parks when you can get similar items for a fraction of the cost?

On my first trip back in May I found the umbrella that I had been searching for since Christmas.  The Mickeys turn red when they get wet which is pretty cool.
I also bought a Hakuna Matata top, a Mickey and Minnie scarf, Ariel and Simba flip Flops, Ariel coin purse and a cute little pencil case which will be going in my Daughter's backpack for the flight.

The Moleskine notebook pictured below obviously wasn't from Primark, but the notepad, pencil case and erasers were.  When I was in there this week, they had actually been reduced to half price!

My Husband also bought me this cute Minnie mouse-head shaped bag, Alice scarf, and Mickey Make-up bag which will come in very handy on holiday. I was worried about the size of the mouse-head bag, and sure, you won't fit a whole park day's worth of things in it, but you can easily fit a purse in if you're just out for the fireworks one evening.

I also picked up some tops, and an Alice pyjama top.  I have the bottoms also (see below). I'm not big on Star Wars (I've never seen any of the films), but as Hollywood Studios is all about Star Wars these days, I thought I'd better get this top.  Plus it was only £4.

A few weeks ago I was in Milton Keynes where they have a HUGE Primark, so I popped in and picked up this top which I will wear on travel day!

This week I was in Primark again and picked up a Simba bag (£12) which I'm going to use as my hand luggage on the flight as It's very roomy. I should be able to fit my laptop, camera, magazines, etc in there.  I also got a Minnie rucksack which will be my park bag.  It had £10 on the tag but was only £5 at the checkout!  Bargain! Lastly, I got my Daughter a little set of exercise books so she can write about the things we do each day of our holiday. The jute bag is from Emma Bridgewater.  I couldn't resist it since we're staying at Animal Kingdom lodge!

Thank you for reading! I'll keep you posted if I find anything else! xx

Disney Reveal Bags for Kids

I thought I would share with you a few ideas I have for the kids reveal bags for our trip to Disney World next October.

I bought Amelia this cute back pack from Disney Store.I fell in love with it when I saw it and I know she will love it too.

It led me on to thinking about some of the other things I could put into the bag to reveal where we are going. Aside from the usual magazines, pens and pencils, etc, I have bought a few of the things below, and have added the rest to a private Amazon wish list to remind me to buy them before we go.

1. Minnie sunglasses from Disney Store.  In the sale at £4.87
2. Autograph Book and pen from Disney Store. £5.95
3. Ariel magic face cloth from Tesco.com £2.00
4. Birnbaum's 2016 Walt Disney World For Kids, Amazon, £6.99
5.Nikon Coolpix S33, Various retailers. Around £85
6.Children's Travel Activity Book and Journal - My Trip to Disney World.  Amazon, £6.99
7. Kids princess Elastoplast.  Tesco, £2.00
8. Minnie Battery powered Toothbrush with timer, Disney Store, £7.95
9.Fox's Frozen Ice Whirl biscuits. Tesco, £1.49
10 Mickey Mouse Clubhouse matching pairs game (snap).  Disney Store in the sale at £1.49

Other things I may put in are Disney Frozen shampoo and conditioner (Tesco), activity books, sticker books, a new DS game, etc.

My Son is harder to buy things for as he's getting to that age now where he may think he's too old for things like this. He'll be 17, almost 18, on our next trip. But I feel like if my youngest has a reveal bag, then he should too, so I have come up with a few things.  I think for the majority of the flight, he'll be playing on his tablet or watching movies, but with the exception of the Kingdom Keepers books and monopoly card game, these things will also come in useful while we're in the parks.

1. Darth Vader Bag by Loungefly. Amazon, £35
2. Nikon Coolpix S33 waterproof camera, Amazon, around £85
3.Limited edition Mickey Moleskine ruled notebook, Amazon, £11.39
4. Hidden Mickeys of Walt Disney World (paperback) Amazon,  £11.99
5. Mickey phone case (various retailers).  This one is from Amazon, £29.99
6. Shuffle Monopoly Deal Disney card game.  Amazon, £6.99
7.The Kingdom Keepers books.  Available from Amazon from £6.37
8 Sunglasses.  These ones were found on Amazon for £10 (RRP £64) but had mixed reviews.

I have also bought him a Disney T-shirt to put in the bag which was only £7.90 from Uniqlo.

If you have any more ideas that I could incorporate, please comment below!
